My love for fashion started when I was only in the first grade. My multi-talented mother patiently taught me how to sew, and I soon began sewing fancy clothes for my precious dolls on my own. I still have a passion for design and my dream of becoming a fashion designer will one day become a reality.
My passion for jewelry, lovely bright shiny gems and stones equals my love for clothing design. I enjoy matching my daily wardrobe with my bountiful earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. In adding a new outfit to my wardrobe, I’d find I was missing the right jewelry and was frustrated at finding just the right pieces, so I decided to make my own. I worked hard and long hours to teach myself the techniques required to create the jewelry I designed. Now I can create any design I want to go with any outfit and I enjoy the process when faced with a challenge.
I now have my own “Scarlett Collection” and I’m excited to share my pieces for purchase so that others can enjoy them as much as I do. I have heard from many clients how much they enjoy each custom piece and appreciate the quality of the precious and semi-precious stones and gems.
You can see my advertisements in “The Runway” and “Catwalk” magazines. These are quarterly magazines that keep you current with the most up to date fashions.
Speaking of runways, I had the brilliant idea to create my own mini runway at home for fun! It was a great experience and it gave me a way to show off my jewelry with clothing out of my own closet. I love beautiful dresses like cheap evening dresses, cocktail dresses, wedding gowns. I called the event “How to wear it!” and featured my jewelry collection to give ideas how versatile my creations can be. We hired a professional makeup artist, Amy Vu, and Jeremy David as our professional photographer. They are both amazing to work with and we got a small taste of what goes on the scenes at a real fashion show experience.
My wonderful, patient and supportive husband, Robert Munson, snapped a few pic’s as the preparations were underway. What seemed short of chaos turned out to be a fun filled afternoon with amazing results in the pictures you’ll see at the next posting. Stay tuned…
